Properly washing your eyelash extensions
Failure to wash your eyelashes properly will result in premature lash fall out, lash mites or blepharitis. Remember you must do your part at home as well. Healthy lashes are happy lashes!
How to properly wash your lashes:
-Purchase an handmade lash shampoo from your service provider, don't use any baby shampoo, face wash, witch hazel or dove soap for any reason what so ever.
-Dispense lash shampoo onto lashes, don't be shy with how much you are putting.
-Take a small makeup brush and wash thoroughly with the shampoo in a upwards and downwards motion, you do not have to be gentle.
-Use a squirt bottle or your and and drench your lashes until no soap residue is left.
-Take a paper towel and gently pat dry your lashes.
-Take a lash fan (can be purchased on amazon) or a blow dryer (on low setting) and blow dry your lashes completely while brushing them with a spoolie.
*Remember ladies think of your lashes as a makeup brush, however you wet your makeup brush is how it will dry. If you only wash your lashes without blow drying them 100% they will dry in clumps. In result of this when one lash falls so will the one that is clumped to it, resulting in damage.
*Lash extensions are extremely high maintenance to obtain.
